IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
- Warm
up by chatting with the class using previously learned
vocabulary, phrases, and structures.
- Briefly
go over the Lesson 16 objectives. To orient your students
to the lesson theme, have them explain what's going on
in the lesson opener photograph.
- Present
the illustrated Contextos vocabulary. You should
also point out to students the vocabulary contained in
the Más vocabulario box and in the Las
entrevistas box. In addition, you may want to point
out and discuss the information contained in the Variación
léxica box.
- Using
the Student Cassette/CD, work through Práctica
activity 1 with the class. Then have your class work through
your choice of the remaining Práctica activities.
- Have
your students work through your choice of the Comunicación
activities.
- Preview
the Fotonovela.
ASSIGNMENT
- Have
your students read the Fotonovela and familiarize
themselves with the Expresiones útiles.
- Have
your students prepare one or more of the Reacciona
a la fotonovela activities so that you can go over
them orally during the next class session.
- As
an ongoing project, have your students read this lesson's
Panorama section as they work through the lesson.
Tell them that one class day before you administer the
Prueba for this lesson, you will ask them the questions
contained in the ¿Qué aprendiste?
activity, as well as additional questions about the Panorama
material.
