2-SEMESTER SYSTEM - LENGUA
These sample lesson plans have been designed
for a 2-semester course that has 16 teaching weeks each semester.
The lesson plans presented here are not prescriptive. You should
feel free to present lesson materials as you see fit, tailoring
them to your own teaching preferences and to your students' learning
styles.
When planning lessons, you may find it helpful
to glance at the Instructor's Annotated Edition (IAE), which contains
a wealth of ideas about how to preview and present vocabulary
and grammar topics; present the video in class; modify and expand
activities; and encourage learning through cooperative work, games,
and specialized activities for heritage speakers.
