  1. Go to the "Parques Nacionales de Panamá" site. Find the "Parque Nacional Marino Isla Bastimientos and click on it. Scan the headings: all but "Ubicación" have close English cognates. Can you infer what "ubicación" means? What clues tell you? Go to the heading "Biodiversidad." Can you figure out what the Spanish for "three-toed sloth" is?
  2. Open "Destination Panamá. What are some of the main attractions listed on Panamá? What is Isla Taboga? Why is it know as "Island of Flowers"?
  3. Go to "Proyecto San Lorenzo." What is the purpose of the project? Click on "Mapa interactivo." What is the ecological significance of Mesoamerica? What is the major problem facing this ecosystem? How many governments colaborate in maintaining the "Corredor Biológico Mesoamericano"? Before you leave the site, be sure to take the "Giro virtual del Castillo de San Lorenzo."
