1. Go to the Fagor Electrodomésticos home page. Under the head "Seleccione país" click "España." Predict the products you would expect to find on the Website of a manufacturer of "electrodomésticos." Use the Spanish names when you know them and English if you don't.
   
2. Click "Productos." How many of the products shown did you predict? Read through the names for the "electrodomésticos" shown. What are some of the new terms you learn? What's another word for "lavaplatos"? What is a "secadora"? A "grifo"?
   
3. Click "Pequeño aparato eléctrico." On the bottom of the screen that appears you will see 4 pull-down menus. "Cualquiera" means "any." Pull down the menu under "Tipo." What categories you see? Select "Desayuno." The next pull-down menu is labeled "Gama." "Gama" means "range, scale, gamut," but here it has a special commercial meaning. What lines of products are listed? You know what a "cafetera" is. What do you think a "cafetera 'gota a gota'" is? Select it.
   
4. Under "Subgama" select "Normales" and under "Producto" select "CG-650." What is a "cafetera 'gota a gota'"? What is the cafetera CG-650's capacity? Can you guess what "válvula antigoteo" means? (Remember, "gota" means drip/drop.) List any other features of the CG-650 that you can figure out from context and English cognates.
   
5. Explore some of the other products shown on the Fagor Website. What were they? List the Spanish words you were able to figure out through context and English cognates.
