A number of Websites offer self-correcting exercises, grammar explanations, and games for people learning Spanish. Here are two that include activities for students in the early stages of study. You can use sites like these both for more practice and for checking your progress.

  1. A good way to learn Spanish vocabulary is to prepare flash cards. You can find electronic flash cards for practicing numbers 1-100 on the Quía Website. Give them a try. Quía also offers a number of games for practicing Spanish numbers. Explore them. Which did you try?
  2. The Lingu@Web en español site offers game-like activities for Spanish learners. You should have no trouble doing the activities in Units 1 and 2. Give them a try. List any new vocabulary words you learned.
  3. Click on the "Why Spanish?" link at the bottom of the Lingu@Web en español page. What are some of the reasons given for learning Spanish?
