1. Warm up by chatting with the class using previously learned vocabulary, phrases, and structures.
2. Briefly go over the Lesson 11 objectives. To orient your students to the lesson theme, have them explain what's going on in the lesson opener photograph.
3. Present the illustrated Contextos vocabulary using Transparencies 40-41. You should also point out to students the vocabulary contained in the La tecnología box and in the La computadora box. In addition, you may want to point out and discuss the information contained in the Variación léxica box.
4. Using the Student Cassette/CD, work through Práctica activity 1 with the class.
5. Have your students do any assigned Práctica activities, then work through your choice of the remaining Práctica activities.
6. Have your students do your choice of the Comunicación activities.
7. Preview the Fotonovela.

1. Have your students read the Fotonovela and familiarize themselves with the Expresiones útiles and the Enfoque cultural.
2. Have your students prepare one or more of the Reacciona a la fotonovela activities so you can go over them orally during the next class session.
3. As an ongoing project, have your students read the first Panorama section on Argentina as they work through the lesson. Tell them you will ask them oral questions based on the ¿Qué aprendiste? activity the day before you administer this lesson's Prueba.

4. Ask a few comprehension questions and then go over the assigned Reacciona a la fotonovela activities. Have the class work through your choice of the remaining Reacciona a la fotonovela activities.
5. Preview and present the Ortografía page then work through your choice of the activities with your class.
6. Preview Estructura 11.1.

ASSIGNMENT

1. Have your students study Estructura 11.1.
2. Have your students prepare the Inténtalo activity and Práctica activity 1 so that you can go over them orally during the next class session.
3. Remind your students to continue reading this lesson's first Panorama section and familiarizing themselves with the ¿Qué aprendiste? activity.
