TYPING SPANISH CHARACTERS FROM THE KEYBOARD

Here are the keyboard combinations that create Spanish characters and punctuation from the keyboard of a Windows PC and a Macintosh.

To Produce:	Press:	Press:
á, é, í, ó, ú Á, É, Í, Ó, Ú	CTRL+' (apostrophe), followed by the letter.	OPTION+e, followed by the letter.
ñ, Ñ	CTRL+SHIFT+~ (tilde), then the letter.	OPTION+n, then the letter.
ü, Ü	CTRL+SHIFT+: (colon), followed by the letter.	OPTION+u, followed by the letter.
¿	ALT+CTRL+SHIFT+?	OPTION+SHIFT+?
¡	ALT+CTRL+!	OPTION+!
