IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
- Review the quiz for Lección
5.
- Present the Contextos paragraphs,
having various students read the paragraphs aloud and checking comprehension
using the suggestions in the annotations in the Instructor’s Annotated
Edition.
- Present the vocabulary list, modeling the
Spanish words and expressions.
- Do the Práctica activities for
Contextos with the class.
- Have students do the
Comunicación activities for Contextos in class. Students
will work in small groups for activity 5 and in pairs for activity
6.
- Preview Fotonovela and
Expresiones
útiles.
ASSIGNMENT
- Study the lesson vocabulary. Select 10
vocabulary words and create Spanish definitions for them.
- Read Fotonovela and watch the video
episode on the FACETAS CD-ROM.
- Listen to and read the
Exploración section on the FACETAS CD-ROM. Answer the
comprehension questions. Prepare the corresponding activities on the
FACETAS web site, to be submitted electronically before class on Day
5.
