IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
  1. Warm up the class by asking students what thematic parallels they see between the story Biografía and the video La hora de comer. Have them consider the concepts of family and societal norms.
  2. Show the video. As a class, complete the Mientras ves el corto activities.
  3. Work through Videoteca Después de ver el corto activity 4 with the class. Have students work in pairs to complete activity 5. Discuss activity 6 as a class. Put students in pairs to complete activity 7.
  4. Show the video La hora de comer for the final time.
  5. Put students in groups of four and have them work on Videoteca Después de ver el corto activity 8.
  6. Collect and correct the letters students wrote for Videoteca Después de ver el corto activity 9.
  7. Announce the quiz on Lección 5 to be given during the next class and explain what material will be covered.
ASSIGNMENT
  1. Study for the quiz on Lección 5.
  2. Finalize Videoteca Después de ver el corto activity 8 and be prepared to present your version of the video for the class.
