Day 7

IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
  1. Present the profile on Catalina de Erauso and do the Conexión personal questions in Antes de leer with the class.
  2. Ask students to tell you about Catalina de Erauso.
  3. Work through Después de leer activities 1 and 2 for Perfil: Catalina de Erauso with the class.
  4. Put students in pairs and have them prepare Después de leer activity 3 for Perfil: Catalina de Erauso. Remind students to think of the differences between Spain and the Americas at that time.
  5. Have students prepare Después de leer activity 4 for Perfil: Catalina de Erauso in pairs. Have each pair present its interview to the class.
  6. Present the Estrategia de comunicación in Atando cabos. Then have students work in groups on their presentations.
  7. Announce the quiz on Lección 4 to be given during the next class and explain what material will be covered.
ASSIGNMENT
  1. Study for the quiz on Lección 4.
  2. Prepare presentations for Atando cabos for the next class.
  3. Complete the Lecturas activities from the FACETAS web site to be submitted electronically before class on Day 8.
