IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
  1. Warm up the class by asking students what thematic parallels they see between the story Anónimo (pp. 108–111) and the video Adiós mama. Have them consider the concepts of anonymity and loneliness.
  2. Show the video. Have students work in pairs to complete the Mientras ves el corto activities (p. 118). Correct the Mientras ves el corto activities as a class.
  3. Work through Videoteca Después de ver el corto activity 4 (p. 119) with the class.
  4. Put students in groups of three. Have them peer review each other’s paragraph for Videoteca Después de ver el corto activity 6 (p. 119), in the process clarifying their knowledge of the story presented in the video. When students are clear on the story, have them move on to activity 5 (p. 119).
  5. Show the video Adiós mamá for the final time.
  6. Have students work in pairs for Videoteca Después de ver el corto activity 7 (p. 119).
  7. Announce the quiz on Lección 3 to be given during the next class and explain what material will be covered.
ASSIGNMENT
  1. Study for the quiz on Lección 3.
  2. Prepare the dialogs from Videoteca Después de ver el corto activity 7 (p. 119) for presentation to the class.
