IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
- Review the quiz for Lección
1.
- Present the Contextos paragraphs (pp.
46–47), having various students read the paragraphs aloud and checking
comprehension using the suggestions in the annotations in the Instructor’s
Annotated Edition.
- Present the vocabulary list (p. 47), modeling
the Spanish words and expressions.
- Do the Práctica activities for
Contextos (p. 48) with the class.
- Have students do the
Comunicación activities for Contextos (p. 49) in class.
Students will work in pairs for activity 4 and in groups of three for activities
5 and 6.
- Preview Fotonovela and
Expresiones útiles (pp.
50–51).
ASSIGNMENT
- Study the lesson vocabulary (pp.
46–47). Select 10 vocabulary words and create Spanish definitions for
them.
- Read Fotonovela (pp. 50–51) and
watch the video episode on the FACETAS CD-ROM.
- Listen to and read the
Exploración section on the FACETAS CD-ROM. Answer the
comprehension questions. Prepare the corresponding activities on the
FACETAS web site, to be submitted electronically before class on Day
5.
