- Present the

modeling the Spanish words and expressions.
- Discuss the

31) questions in Antes de leer for
Aqueronte with the class. Encourage
students to use the vocabulary just presented.
- As a class
activity, summarize each paragraph of Aqueronte
(pp. 32–35).
- Work through
the Análisis literario activity
(p. 31) in the Antes de leer section
with the class.
- Work through
Después de leer activities 1
and 2 for Aqueronte (p. 36) with the
class. Have students work in pairs to complete
activity 3.
- Have a few
volunteers read aloud their paragraph for
Después de leer activity 4 (p.
36) for Aqueronte. Collect and correct
students’ paragraphs.
