IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
Ask students to tell you about Jeff Bezos’s life and career.
Work through Después de leer activities 1 and 2 for Perfil: Jeff Bezos with the class. Put students in pairs for activity 3; have each pair share its ideas with the class.
Put students in small groups for Después de leer activity 4 for Perfil: Jeff Bezos. Follow the anno in the IAE to ask students to determine what will be the main motivator for their business. Ask each group to share their business idea with the class.
Show the video Lluvia again and have students work in pairs on VideotecaDespués de ver el corto activity 6.
Present the Estrategia de comunicación in Atando cabos. Then have students work in groups on their presentations.
Collect and correct the compositions students wrote for VideotecaDespués de ver el corto activity 7.
ASSIGNMENT
Finalize the dialogs for VideotecaDespués de ver el corto activity 6. Be prepared to present them to the class on Day 14.
Have groups prepare their Atando cabos presentations for the next class.
ADDITIONAL PRACTICE OPTIONS
Review the Vocabulario for Lección 11 by having students create at least two sentences about each category, using as many vocabulary items as possible in each sentence.
