Day 4

IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
  1. Review Estructura 10.1 by asking students what they will have done by a certain date and if things don’t go as planned, what they would have done differently.
  2. Put students in pairs and have them complete the Comunicación activities for Estructura 10.1.
  3. Work through the Práctica y Comunicación activities for Estructura 10.2 with the class. Students will work in pairs for activity 3.
  4. Present Estructura 10.3.
  5. Read the Enfoques selection on Jorge Luis Borges with the class. Ask students if they have read anything by Borges.
  6. Ask students the comprehension questions found in the Additional Teaching Suggestions of the Instructor Resource Manual for this Enfoques selection.
ASSIGNMENT
  1. Study Estructura 10.3.
  2. Prepare the Práctica y Comunicación activities for Estructura 10.3 for oral work during the next class.
  3. Read the second Enfoques selection and be prepared to discuss the Coméntalo questions.
  4. Go to the ENFOQUES web site, prepare the corresponding activity for the second Enfoques selection, and submit it electronically before the next class.
ADDITIONAL PRACTICE OPTIONS
  1. Do the corresponding exercises for Estructura 10.3 in the workbook section of the Student Activities Manual.
  2. Do the corresponding exercises for Estructura 10.3 in the lab manual section of the Student Activities Manual in conjunction with the Lab Audio CD or MP3 Files Audio CD-ROM.
  3. Do the corresponding Enfoques activity on the ENFOQUES CD-ROM.
