IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
- Review Estructura 10.1 by asking students what they will have done by a certain date and if things don’t go as planned, what they would have done differently.
- Put students in pairs and have them complete the Comunicación activities for Estructura 10.1.
- Work through the Práctica y Comunicación activities for Estructura 10.2 with the class. Students will work in pairs for activity 3.
- Present Estructura 10.3.
- Read the Enfoques selection on Jorge Luis Borges with the class. Ask students if they have read anything by Borges.
- Ask students the comprehension questions found in the Additional Teaching Suggestions of the Instructor Resource Manual for this Enfoques selection.
ASSIGNMENT
- Study Estructura 10.3.
- Prepare the Práctica y Comunicación activities for Estructura 10.3 for oral work during the next class.
- Read the second Enfoques selection and be prepared to discuss the Coméntalo questions.
- Go to the ENFOQUES web site, prepare the corresponding activity for the second Enfoques selection, and submit it electronically before the next class.
ADDITIONAL PRACTICE OPTIONS
- Do the corresponding exercises for Estructura 10.3 in the workbook section of the Student Activities Manual.
- Do the corresponding exercises for Estructura 10.3 in the lab manual section of the Student Activities Manual in conjunction with the Lab Audio CD or MP3 Files Audio CD-ROM.
- Do the corresponding Enfoques activity on the ENFOQUES CD-ROM.
