IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
Review the lesson vocabulary by going over students’ vocabulary definitions.
Put students in pairs and have them complete the Comunicación activities for Contextos. If possible, bring in pictures of classical and abstract art and have students comment on what they consider to be the artistic value of each.
Go through Fotonovela and Expresiones útiles. Have students summarize the video episode and express their reactions to it. Direct students’ attention to Apuntes culturales and ask their opinion.
Do the Comprensión activities for Fotonovela with the class.
Present Estructura 10.1. Review other compound tenses in the indicative mood by asking students for examples of sentences in the present perfect and past perfect.
ASSIGNMENT
Do Comunicación activity 6 for Contextos in writing.
Study Expresiones útiles.
Use the library or the Internet to gather information about surrealist art and its relationship to dreams.
Study Estructura 10.1.
Prepare the Práctica activities for Estructura 10.1 for oral work during the next class.
