IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
- Have students read aloud the scenes they wrote for Comunicación activity 4 for Estructura 9.3 as other students act out the scenes. Have students read their scenes twice so the “actors” have time to prepare.
- Have students read aloud the descriptions they wrote for Práctica y Comunicación activity 3 for Estructura 9.4. The class will guess who is being described.
- Put students in small groups and complete A conversar.
- Debrief A conversar by having the groups present their opinions to the class.
- Present A escribir, making sure students understand the Plan de redacción.
ASSIGNMENT
- Write an original piece of news (weather report, sports story, gossip column, etc.). Use both infinitive and subjunctive constructions.
- Prepare A escribir, to be handed in at the next class.
ADDITIONAL PRACTICE OPTIONS
- Prepare the Composición section in the workbook section of the Student Activities Manual and do the corresponding activities.
