IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
  1. Review Estructura 9.2. Put students in pairs to complete the Comunicación activities. Students will finish their dialogs for activity 4 for homework.
  2. Work through the Práctica activities for Estructura 9.3 with the class.
  3. Present Estructura 9.4. Follow the suggestions in the annos in the IAE to review negatives and to present ni yo tampoco.
  4. Have students work in small groups and read the Enfoques selection Nuevos directores hispanos together.
  5. Ask students the comprehension questions found in the Additional Teaching Suggestions of the Instructor Resource Manual for this Enfoques selection.
  6. Have students discuss the Coméntalo questions. Encourage them to expand on their answers using the knowledge gained from doing the ENFOQUES CD-ROM Enfoques activities.
ASSIGNMENT
  1. Finalize the dialog for Comunicación activity 4 for Estructura 9.2. Be prepared to present the dialog for the class.
  2. Do Comunicación activity 5 for Estructura 9.2 in writing.
  3. Study Estructura 9.4.
  4. Prepare the Práctica y Comunicación activities for Estructura 9.4 for oral work during the next class.
  5. Read through the A conversar section and prepare steps A & B in writing for use in the next class.
ADDITIONAL PRACTICE OPTIONS
  1. Do the corresponding exercises for Estructura 9.4 in the workbook section of the Student Activities Manual.
  2. Do the corresponding exercises for Estructura 9.4 in the lab manual section of the Student Activities Manual in conjunction with the Lab Audio CD or MP3 Files Audio CD-ROM.
