IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
Have students present their campaign posters for Tere Zamora. Have students discuss how convincing each poster is.
Review Estructura 8.1 byhaving students restate in the passive voice the sentences you say in the active voice.
Work through the Práctica activities for Estructura 8.2 with the class. Students will work in pairs for activity 4.
Present Estructura 8.3.
Read the Enfoques selection on Costa Rica with the class. Ask students what they know about Costa Rica and if they would be interested in visiting the country.
Ask students the comprehension questions found in the Additional Teaching Suggestions of the Instructor Resource Manual for this Enfoques selection.
ASSIGNMENT
Study Estructura 8.3.
Prepare the Prácticay Comunicación activities for Estructura 8.3 for oral work during the next class.
Read the second Enfoques selection and be prepared to discuss the Coméntalo questions.
Go to the ENFOQUES web site, prepare the corresponding activity for the second Enfoques selection, and submit it electronically before the next class.
