IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
- Work through Después de leer activities 1 and 2 for La prodigiosa tarde de Baltazar with the class. Follow the anno in the IAE to ask students about Baltazar’s attitudes and the circumstances in his life that led him to become who he is.
- Work through Después de leer activity 3 for La prodigiosa tarde de Baltazar with the class. Ask students about the symbolism of the cage (Análisis literario). Ask them to evaluate the story on the aspects mentioned in Estrategia de lectura.
- Put students in pairs and give them ten minutes to begin work on Después de leer activity 4 for La prodigiosa tarde de Baltazar.
ASSIGNMENT
- Finish Después de leer activity 4 for La prodigiosa tarde de Baltasar and be prepared to present the dialogs to the class.
- Continue preparing the Lecturas activity from the ENFOQUES web site to be submitted electronically before class on Day 12.
ADDITIONAL PRACTICE OPTIONS
- Do the corresponding exercises for Estructura 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, and 7.4 on the ENFOQUES CD-ROM.
