IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
- Review Estructura 7.1 by asking students to talk about lo mejor and lo peor of their current jobs. Follow the anno in the IAE to have students discuss campus issues, using the expressions in Práctica y Comunicación activity 4.
- Work through the Práctica activities for Estructura 7.2 with the class. Students will work in pairs for activity 2.
- Present Estructura 7.3.
- Read the Enfoques selection on job hunting in Latin America with the class. Ask students if they would like to look for a job in Latin America. Do they think the process would be easier or harder than it is in the U.S.?
- Ask students the comprehension questions found in the Additional Teaching Suggestions of the Instructor Resource Manual for this Enfoques selection.
ASSIGNMENT
- Study Estructura 7.3.
- Prepare the Práctica activities for Estructura 7.3 for oral work during the next class.
- Read the second Enfoques selection and be prepared to discuss the Coméntalo questions.
- Go to the ENFOQUES web site, prepare the corresponding activity for the second Enfoques selection, and submit it electronically before the next class.
ADDITIONAL PRACTICE OPTIONS
- Do the corresponding exercises for Estructura 7.3 in the workbook section of the Student Activities Manual.
- Do the corresponding exercises for Estructura 7.3 in the lab manual section of the Student Activities Manual in conjunction with the Lab Audio CD or MP3 Files Audio CD-ROM.
- Do the corresponding Enfoques activity on the ENFOQUES CD-ROM.
