Day 10

IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
  1. Have students present the dialogs they prepared for Después de leer activity 4 for La prodigiosa tarde de Baltasar to the class.
  2. Present the Videoteca section. Model the Spanish words and expressions in Vocabulario. Play the video without sound. Ask students how they think the video relates to the lesson theme.
  3. Put students in pairs and have them work through Antes de ver el corto.
  4. Show the video, with sound. As a class, complete the Mientras ves el corto activities. Replay any portion of the video needed to correct the Mientras ves el corto activities.
ASSIGNMENT
  1. Study the Videoteca Vocabulario.
  2. Prepare Videoteca Después de ver el corto activities 4, 5, and 6. Do activity 6 in writing.
  3. Continue preparing the Lecturas activity from the ENFOQUES web site to be submitted electronically before class on Day 12.
ADDITIONAL PRACTICE OPTIONS
  1. Provide students with the Práctica exercises from the Additional Activities found in the Instructor’s Resource Manual.
