IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
  1. Ask students to tell you about Alejandro Leal and his work.
  2. Work through Después de leer activities 1 and 2 for Perfil: Alejandro Leal with the class. Have students complete activity 3 in pairs. Follow the anno in the IAE to expand the activity.
  3. Show the video La hora de comer again and have students work in pairs to complete Videoteca Después de ver el corto activity 7.
  4. Put students in groups of four and have them work on Videoteca Después de ver el corto activity 8.
  5. Present the Estrategia de comunicación in Atando cabos. Then have students work in groups on their presentations.
  6. Collect and correct the paragraphs students wrote for Después de leer activity 4 for Perfil: Alejandro Leal.
ASSIGNMENT
  1. Finalize Videoteca Después de ver el corto activity 8 and be prepared to present your version of the video for the class on Day 14.
  2. Prepare Videoteca Después de ver el corto activity 9 in writing, for Day 14.
  3. Have groups prepare their Atando cabos presentations for the next class.
ADDITIONAL PRACTICE OPTIONS
  1. Review the Vocabulario for Lección 5 by creating sentences that include clauses using the indicative and the subjunctive.
