IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
  1. Warm up the class by asking personal questions using the imperfect and preterite tenses. Incorporate adverbs into the questions.
  2. Have students do the Comunicación activities for Estructura 3.3 (p. 105) during class. After students have completed activity 4, have each pair present their narration to the class.
  3. Work through Práctica y Comunicación activity 1 for Estructura 3.4 (p. 107) with the class. Have students do Práctica y Comunicación activity 2 in pairs (p. 107).
  4. Have students work in groups of three to complete steps B and C of A conversar (p. 108).
ASSIGNMENT
  1. Write a narration describing a party. Use querer, poder, saber, and conocer in both the preterite and imperfect.
  2. Review A conversar (p. 108) and be prepared to complete step D in class.
ADDITIONAL PRACTICE OPTIONS
  1. Read the Lectura section in the workbook section of the Student Activities Manual and do the corresponding activities.
