IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
  1. Review Estructura 3.2 (p. 100) and have students do Práctica y Comunicación activity 3 (p. 101). Follow the suggestion in the annotation in the Instructor’s Annotated Edition for board work and questions focusing on the imperfect and preterite.
  2. Work through the Práctica activities for Estructura 3.3 (p. 104) with the class.
  3. Present Estructura 3.4 (p. 106).
  4. Have students work in small groups and read the Enfoques selection El almuerzo y sus horarios (p. 95) together.
  5. Ask students the comprehension questions found in the Additional Teaching Suggestions of the Instructor Resource Manual for this Enfoques selection.
  6. Have students discuss the Coméntalo questions (p. 95). Encourage them to expand on their answers using the knowledge gained from doing the ENFOQUES CD-ROM Enfoques activities.
ASSIGNMENT
  1. Study Estructura 3.4 (p. 106).
  2. Prepare Práctica y Comunicación activities 1 and 2 for Estructura 3.4 (p. 107) for oral work during the next class.
  3. Read through A conversar (p. 108) and prepare steps A, B, and C.
ADDITIONAL PRACTICE OPTIONS
  1. Do the corresponding exercises for Estructura 3.4 in the workbook section of the Student Activities Manual.
  2. Do the corresponding exercises for Estructura 3.4 in the lab manual section of the Student Activities Manual in conjunction with the Lab Audio CD or MP3 Files Audio CD-ROM.
