IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
- Review Estructura 3.1 (pp. 96–97) and have students do the Comunicación activities for Estructura 3.1 (p. 99) in pairs and in groups of three.
- Put students in pairs and have them complete Práctica y Comunicación activities 1 and 2 for Estructura 3.2 (p. 101).
- Present Estructura 3.3 (pp. 22–23).
- Read the Enfoques selection México D.F., una megametrópolis (p. 10) with the class. Have students discuss what they know of Mexico’s capital city.
- Ask students the comprehension questions found in the Additional Teaching Suggestions of the Instructor Resource Manual for this Enfoques selection.
ASSIGNMENT
- Study Estructura 3.3 (pp. 102–103).
- Prepare the Práctica activities for Estructura 3.3 (p. 104) for oral work during the next class.
- Read the second Enfoques selection (p. 95) and be prepared to discuss the Coméntalo questions.
- Go to the ENFOQUES web site, prepare the corresponding activity for the second Enfoques selection, and submit it electronically before the next class.
ADDITIONAL PRACTICE OPTIONS
- Do the corresponding exercises for Estructura 3.3 in the workbook section of the Student Activities Manual.
- Do the corresponding exercises for Estructura 3.3 in the lab manual section of the Student Activities Manual in conjunction with the Lab Audio CD or MP3 Files Audio CD-ROM.
- Do the corresponding Enfoques activity on the ENFOQUES CD-ROM.
