IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
  1. Review Estructura 3.1 (pp. 96–97) and have students do the Comunicación activities for Estructura 3.1 (p. 99) in pairs and in groups of three.
  2. Put students in pairs and have them complete Práctica y Comunicación activities 1 and 2 for Estructura 3.2 (p. 101).
  3. Present Estructura 3.3 (pp. 22–23).
  4. Read the Enfoques selection México D.F., una megametrópolis (p. 10) with the class. Have students discuss what they know of Mexico’s capital city.
  5. Ask students the comprehension questions found in the Additional Teaching Suggestions of the Instructor Resource Manual for this Enfoques selection.
ASSIGNMENT
  1. Study Estructura 3.3 (pp. 102–103).
  2. Prepare the Práctica activities for Estructura 3.3 (p. 104) for oral work during the next class.
  3. Read the second Enfoques selection (p. 95) and be prepared to discuss the Coméntalo questions.
  4. Go to the ENFOQUES web site, prepare the corresponding activity for the second Enfoques selection, and submit it electronically before the next class.
ADDITIONAL PRACTICE OPTIONS
  1. Do the corresponding exercises for Estructura 3.3 in the workbook section of the Student Activities Manual.
  2. Do the corresponding exercises for Estructura 3.3 in the lab manual section of the Student Activities Manual in conjunction with the Lab Audio CD or MP3 Files Audio CD-ROM.
  3. Do the corresponding Enfoques activity on the ENFOQUES CD-ROM.
