IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
Review Estructura 2.2 (pp. 60–61)and have students do Comunicación exercise 4 in pairs and Comunicación exercise 5 in small groups (p. 63). Follow the suggestion in the annotation in the Instructor’s Annotated Edition that students write their conversations for exercise 5 and read each other’s work.
Work through Práctica activity 1 for Estructura 2.3 with the class.Select students to write each sentence on the board and have students correct their written work.Have students do Práctica activity 2 in pairs (p. 66).
Present Estructura 2.4 (pp. 68–69).
Have students work in small groups and read the Enfoques selection ¿Quién da el primer paso? (p. 55) together.
Ask students the comprehension questions found in the Additional Teaching Suggestions of the Instructor Resource Manual for this Enfoques selection.
Have students discuss the Coméntalo questions (p. 55). Encourage them to expand on their answers using the knowledge gained from doing the ENFOQUES CD-ROM Enfoques activities.
ASSIGNMENT
Study Estructura 2.4 (pp. 68–69).
Prepare the Práctica activities for Estructura 2.4 (p. 70) for oral work during the next class.
Read through A conversar (p. 72) and prepare steps A & B in writing for use in the next class.
