IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
Review Estructura 2.1 (pp. 56–57)and have students do the Comunicación activities for Estructura 2.1 (p. 59) in pairs.
Work through the Práctica activities for Estructura 2.2 (p. 62) with the class. Have students exchange papers and correct each other’s written answers to exercise 2.
Present Estructura 2.3 (pp. 64–65).
Read the Enfoques selection on Latin rock (p. 54) with the class. Have students discuss what they know of music popular in Hispanic countries.
Ask students the comprehension questions found in the Additional Teaching Suggestions of the Instructor Resource Manual for this Enfoques selection.
ASSIGNMENT
Study Estructura 2.3 (pp. 64–65).
Prepare the Práctica activities for Estructura 2.3 (p. 66)for oral work during the next class. Write out exercise 1.
Read the second Enfoques selection (p. 55) and be prepared to discuss the Coméntalo questions.
Go to the ENFOQUES web site, prepare the corresponding activity for the second Enfoques selection, and submit it electronically before the next class.
