IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
- Put students in groups to go over steps A–C of A conversar.
- Have students present the situations they thought of for step C of A converser and have the class come up with solutions.
- Present the vocabulary list for Perfil: Malintzin, modeling the Spanish words and expressions. Present the profile on Malintzin and discuss the Conexión personal questions in Antes de leer with the class.
- Collect and correct the articles students wrote for A escribir.
ASSIGNMENT
- Read Antes de leer and study the Vocabulario for Perfil: Malintzin.
- Read Perfil: Malintzin and prepare the Después de leer activities for the next class.
- Continue preparing the Lecturas activities from the ENFOQUES web site to be submitted electronically before class on Day 8.
ADDITIONAL PRACTICE OPTIONS
- Take the Quiz on the ENFOQUES CD-ROM and review any problem areas.
