IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
Have students present their dialogs for Comunicación activity 4 for Estructura 9.2.
Direct students’ attention to Sobre el autor. Ask them how Samperio’s use of details helps illuminate his humor.
Ask students about the symbolism of the event described in the story (Análisis literario). Are there any details or prior knowledge that they can use to draw conclusions (Estrategia de lectura)?
Work through Después de leer activities 1 and 2 for Tiempo libre with the class. Put students in pairs for activity 3. Ask pairs to summarize their discussion for the class.
Collect and correct the paragraphs students wrote for Después de leer activity 4 for Tiempo libre.
ASSIGNMENT
Study Estructura 9.3 and Estructura 9.4.
Prepare the Práctica and Comunicación activities for Estructura 9.3 and the Práctica y Comunicación activities for Estructura 9.4 for oral work during the next class.
Complete the activities for Enfoques from the ENFOQUES web site, to be submitted electronically before the next class.
