IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
Ask students to tell you about Carolina Herrera’s life.
Follow the suggestions in the anno in the IAE to have students describe the fashion trends of the last century and to link fashions to social changes.
Work through Después de leer activities 1 and 2 for Perfil: Carolina Herrera with the class. Follow the suggestion in the anno in the IAE to have students think about Carolina Herrera’s social status and its role in her success as a designer.
Put students in small groups for Después de leer activity 3 for Perfil: Carolina Herrera and in pairs for activity 4.
Present the Estrategia de comunicación in Atando cabos. Then have students work in groups on their presentations.
ASSIGNMENT
Prepare presentations for Atando cabos for the next class.
Continue preparing the Lecturas activities from the ENFOQUES web site to be submitted electronically before class on Day 9.
ADDITIONAL PRACTICE OPTIONS
Prepare the Composición section in the workbook section of the Student Activities Manual and do the corresponding activities.
Take the Quiz on the ENFOQUES CD-ROM and review any problem areas.
