IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
Present the profile on Mary Axtmann. Have students work through the Conexión personal questions in Antes de leer in pairs.
Ask students to tell you about Mary Axtmann and what she has accomplished.
Work through Después de leer activity 1 for Perfil: Mary Axtmann with the class. Put students in pairs for activity 2. Have each pair share their responses with the class. Have students work in small groups to complete activity 3; discuss the strategies the different groups come up with as a class.
Present the Estrategia de comunicación in Atando cabos. Then have students work in groups on their presentations.
Announce the quiz on Lección 6 to be given during the next class and explain what material will be covered.
ASSIGNMENT
Study for the quiz on Lección 6.
Prepare presentations for Atando cabos for the next class.
Complete the Lecturas activities from the ENFOQUES web site to be submitted electronically before class on Day 8.
