Day 5

IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
  1. Warm up the class by asking personal questions that review the grammar and vocabulary of Lección 5.
  2. Work through the Práctica activities for Estructura 5.3 with the class.
  3. Have students do the Comunicación activities for Estructura 5.3 in pairs.
  4. Work through the Práctica activities for Estructura 5.4 with the class.
  5. Put students in pairs and have them work through the Comunicación activities for Estructura 5.4.
  6. Ask groups to present their Scene IV for Después de leer activity 4 for 1 x 1 = 1, pero 1 + 1 = 2.
ASSIGNMENT
  1. Read through the A conversar section and prepare step B in writing for use in the next class.
  2. Read and prepare A escribir.
  3. Prepare the Lecturas activities from the ENFOQUES web site to be submitted electronically before class on Day 9.
ADDITIONAL PRACTICE OPTIONS
  1. Do the exercises for Estructura 5.3 and Estructura 5.4 on the ENFOQUES CD-ROM.
