Day 2

IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
  1. Review the lesson vocabulary (pp. 86–87) by going over students’ vocabulary definitions.
  2. Go through Fotonovela and Expresiones útiles (pp. 90–91). Have students summarize the video episode and express their reactions to it.
  3. Do the Comprensión activities for Fotonovela (p. 92) with the class.
  4. Have students do the Ampliación activities for Fotonovela (p. 93) in class. They will work in groups of three for activities 4 and 6 and in pairs for activities 5 and 7.
ASSIGNMENT
  1. Study Expresiones útiles (p. 91).
  2. Study Estructura 3.1 (pp. 96–97) and Estructura 3.2 (p. 100).
  3. Prepare the Práctica and Comunicación activities for Estructura 3.1 (pp. 98–99) and the Práctica y Comunicación activities for Estructura 3.2 (p. 101) for oral work during the next class.
  4. Continue preparing the activities for Enfoques from the ENFOQUES web site, to be submitted electronically before class on Day 5.
ADDITIONAL PRACTICE OPTIONS
  1. Do the corresponding exercises for Estructura 3.1 and Estructura 3.2 in the workbook section of the Student Activities Manual.
  2. Do the corresponding exercises for Estructura 3.1 and Estructura 3.2 in the lab manual section of the Student Activities Manual in conjunction with the Lab Audio CD or MP3 Files Audio CD-ROM.
  3. Do the corresponding Fotonovela activities on the ENFOQUES CD-ROM.
