IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
- Go over students’ work on steps A & B of A conversar (p. 72).
- Put students in groups of three and complete A conversar (p. 72).
- Debrief A conversar by having the groups report their results to the whole class.
- Present the vocabulary list for the second reading, Perfil: Shakira (p. 77), modeling the Spanish words and expressions.
- Collect and correct students’ emails for A escribir (p. 71).
ASSIGNMENT
- Read Antes de leer and study the Vocabulario for Perfil: Shakira (p. 79).
- Read Perfil: Shakira (pp. 80–81) and prepare the Después de leer activities (p. 82) for the next class.
- Continue preparing the Lecturas activities from the ENFOQUES web site to be submitted electronically before class on Day 8.
ADDITIONAL PRACTICE OPTIONS
- Take the Quiz on the ENFOQUES CD-ROM and review any problem areas.
