IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
  1. Warm up the class by asking personal questions that review the grammar and vocabulary of Lección 1.
  2. Work through the Práctica activities for Estructura 1.3 (p. 24) with the class. Students will work in pairs for the first activity.
  3. Have students do the Comunicación activities for Estructura 1.3 (p. 25) in pairs.
  4. Work through the Práctica activities for Estructura 1.4 (p. 28) with the class.
  5. Have students do the Comunicación activities for Estructura 1.4 (p. 29) in pairs.
  6. Present A conversar (p. 30). Ask students whether they read advice columns and what type of problems people write about in these columns.
ASSIGNMENT
  1. Read through A conversar (p. 30).
  2. Read and prepare A escribir (p. 31).
  3. Prepare the Lecturas activities from the ENFOQUES web site to be submitted electronically before class on Day 9.
ADDITIONAL PRACTICE OPTIONS
  1. Do the exercises for Estructura 1.3 and Estructura 1.4 on the ENFOQUES CD-ROM.
