Adding VHL WebLinks to Your Course

Downloading VHL WebLinks to Your Computer

1. Download and save VHL WebLinks to your computer’s hard drive.

2. In order to edit these documents, you must decompress the file using a Zip utility* and open its component files using MS Word.

The VHL WebLinks documents are in HTML format allowing you the flexibility to add, delete, or edit as much of the document as you want. For example, if you do not want to use the Lectura section in Lección 1, you can delete the links to those activities. Or, if you want to add text or instructions, you may type these within the document. For example: “After you read and study the grammar on pages 40-41, click on Workbook and complete exercises 1-c and 1-d.”

3. After editing, save the documents, maintaining the HTML format. Recompress the WebLinks folder using your Zip utility* and creating a new ZIP archive. Use this new ZIP archive throughout the following instructions.

*for example WinZip, available for Windows from http://www.winzip.com, or StuffIt available for the Macintosh from http://www.stuffit.com. Please refer to their documentation for instructions on their use.
