The En Internet box on page 97 of the Ampliación section in your textbook asks you to investigate the most popular sports and pastimes in the Spanish-speaking world. Use the Internet to find out more about los deportes más populares del mundo hispano and los pasatiempos más populares del mundo hispano by completing the following items.

Choose a Latin American country. Find what sports are most popular in that country. Is fútbol the most popular sport? What information can you find on boxeo (boxing), fútbol americano, basketball (basquetbol or baloncesto) and béisbol? Did you find your favorite sport? What sports are not listed that you might expect to see?
