ACTIVITIES
1. Present the Communicative
Goals for Lección 15. Use the lesson opener photo to orient
students to the topic of health and nutrition as suggested in PREVIEW in the IAE.
2. Introduce the
Preparación section by asking students where they would go in
their community to do different exercises as described in SUGGESTION in the
IAE.
3. Present the vocabulary using
the Overhead Transparency and the illustrations and lists in the student text,
modeling correct pronunciation for student
repetition.
4. Ask students about their
exercise habits as suggested in SUGGESTION in the
IAE.
5. Go over the VARIACIÓN
LÉXICA in the IAE.
6. Have
students do A escuchar activities 1 and 2 in conjunction with the
Textbook Audio CD.
7. Have students do
A practicar activity 5 in pairs asking them to make gestures for the
physical activities from the lesson vocabulary as suggested in TEACHING OPTION
in the
IAE.
ASSIGNMENT

conversar activity 8 for the next
class.
