IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
Have students present the situations they
thought of for step C of A conversar and have the class come up with
solutions.
Follow the suggestion in the anno in the IAE
to brainstorm as a class the socio-political circumstances that define each
period in Comunicación activity 5A for Estructura 12.3.
Then put students in pairs and have them work on the activity.
Check comprehension of the Actualidades
reading by asking students what the EZLN is and who Subcomandante Marcos
is.
Have students discuss the Después
de leer questions. They should use their research in their discussions of
questions 1 and
3.
ASSIGNMENT
Finalize the dialogs for
Comunicación activity 5A for Estructura 12.3. Be prepared
to present them for the class.
Do Comunicación activity 5B for
Estructura 12.3 in writing.
Write a newspaper article about one of the
events in Comunicación activity 7 for Estructura 12.

Read Manos a la obra and prepare a
presentation on the history of independence of a Hispanic country for Manos a
la obra step B. Be prepared to make the presentation to the class on Day
12.
Do step C of Manos a la obra in
writing for Day 12.
Study the
Vocabulario.
