IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
- Review Estructura 12.2 by providing
students with a noun, an infinitive, and a tense and having them construct a
sentence in the indicated tense.
- Have students begin
Comunicación activity 5 for Estructura 12.2 individually,
then work in pairs. Put students in pairs for activity 6 and in small groups for
activity 7.
- Work through the Práctica
activities for Estructura 12.3 with the class. Ask students to explain
their choice of mood and tense for each sentence.
- Have students work in small groups and read
the Exploración selection Culturas
precolombinas together.
- Ask students the comprehension questions
found in the Additional Teaching Suggestions of the Instructor Resource Manual
for this Exploración selection.
- Have students discuss the Coméntalo
questions. Encourage them to describe their own experiences that relate to
these issues. Have each group present their responses to the questions to the
class.
ASSIGNMENT
- Refine the reasons for your event order for
Comunicación activity 5 for Estructura 12.2 and add any
events that you feel are of similar importance.
- Expand the dialog for
Comunicación activity 6 for Estructura 12.2 by having the
visitor to the fortune-teller be a famous person. Finalize the dialog and be
prepared to present it to the class.
- In preparation for A conversar, make a
list of everything you write during the course of a
day.
