IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES

- Present the Contextos paragraphs,
having various students read the paragraphs aloud and checking comprehension
using the suggestions in the annotations in the Instructor’s Annotated
Edition.
- Present the vocabulary list, modeling the
Spanish words and expressions.
- Do the Práctica activities for
Contextos with the class.
- Preview Fotonovela and
Expresiones
útiles.
ASSIGNMENT
- Create a timeline based on the information in
Práctica activity 1 for Contextos, as well as information
from outside sources.
- Study the lesson vocabulary. Write a short
narration/story that uses at least 10 of the vocabulary words.
- Read Fotonovela and watch the video
episode on the VENTANAS CD-ROM.
- Prepare the Comprensión
activities for oral work during the next class. Do activity 3 in
writing.
