IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
Review Estructura 11.2 by asking
students questions using the verbs.
Work through the Práctica
activities for Estructura 11.3 with the class. Put students in small
groups to peer correct the sentences they wrote for activity 2. Then have each
group share some of their sentences with the class.
Have students work in small groups and read
the Exploración selection El petróleo comofuentede energía together.
Ask students the comprehension questions
found in the Additional Teaching Suggestions of the Instructor Resource Manual
for this Exploración selection.
Have students discuss the Coméntalo
questions. Encourage them to describe their own experiences that relate to
these issues. Have each group present their responses to the questions to the
class.
ASSIGNMENT
Choose one of the sentences in
Práctica activity 3 for Estructura 11.3 and write a story
incorporating the sentence. Be prepared to present the story to the
class.
Read through the A conversar section
and prepare steps A–C for use in class on Day 7. Prepare steps B and C in
writing and add at least five inventions to the
list.
