IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
- Review Estructura 10.2 by following
the suggestion in the anno in the IAE to extend Práctica y
Comunicación activity 1.
- Work through the Práctica y
Comunicación activities for Estructura 10.3 with the class.
Have students invert the clauses in activity 1, as suggested in the anno in
the IAE. For activity 3, brainstorm some dependent clauses with the class, as
suggested in the anno in the IAE, and then have students work in
pairs.
- Present Estructura 10.4.
- Have students work in small groups and read
the Exploración selection La pintura de
Obregón, Varo y Sosabravo
together.
- Ask students the comprehension questions
found in the Additional Teaching Suggestions of the Instructor Resource Manual
for this Exploración selection.
- Have students discuss the Coméntalo
questions. Encourage them to describe their own experiences that relate to
these issues. Have each group present their responses to the questions to the
class.
ASSIGNMENT
- Finalize the conversations for
Práctica y Comunicación activity 3 for Estructura
10.3. Be prepared to present the conversations to the class.
- Study Estructura 10.4.
- Prepare the Práctica y
Comunicación activities for Estructura 10.4 for oral work
during the next class.
- Read through the A conversar section
and prepare steps A & B in writing for use in the next
class.
