IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
  1. Put students in groups of three to read and peer review each other’s news stories. Then have students read their news story to the class. Encourage students to ask questions on each story and to discuss for which type of periodical each “reporter” works.
  2. Review the Vocabulario for Lección 9 by having students create at least two sentences about each communications medium (television, radio, movies, and newspapers), using as many vocabulary items as possible in each sentence.
  3. Collect and correct the compositions students wrote for question 3 of Actualidades Después de leer.
ASSIGNMENT
  1. Review Fotonovela and imagine another or alternate episode with these characters, using the vocabulary and grammar presented in Lección 9.
  2. Continue to prepare steps A—C of Manos a la obra for Day 12.
