IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
- Put students in small groups and complete
A conversar.
- Debrief A conversar by having the
groups present their opinions to the class.
- Check comprehension of the Actualidades
reading using the comprehension questions suggested in the anno in the
IAE.
- Discuss the Después de leer
questions with students. Put students in pairs for question 1 and in small
groups for question 2. Have each pair and group present its opinions to the
whole class.
ASSIGNMENT
- Write a short composition for question 3 of
Actualidades Después de leer. Use the grammar and vocabulary
presented in Lección 9.
- Write an original piece of news (weather
report, sports story, gossip column, etc.). Use both infinitive and subjunctive
constructions.
- Read Manos a la obra and prepare steps
A—C in writing for use in class on Day 12.
- Study the
Vocabulario.
