IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
- Have students present their dialogs for
Ampliación activity 6 for Fotonovela.
- Review Estructura 9.1 and put students
in pairs to complete the Comunicación activities. Extend the
activities using the suggestions in the annos in the IAE.
- Work through the Práctica
activities for Estructura 9.2 with the class.
- Present Estructura 9.3.
- Read the Exploración selection
on Pedro, el escamoso with the class. Ask students if they have ever
watched a telenovela. How do they think Hispanic telenovelas
compare to U.S. soap operas?
- Ask students the comprehension questions
found in the Additional Teaching Suggestions of the Instructor Resource Manual
for this Exploración
selection.
ASSIGNMENT
- Study Estructura 9.3.
- Prepare the Práctica activities
for Estructura 9.3 for oral work during the next class.
- Read the second Exploración
selection and be prepared to discuss the Coméntalo
questions.
- Go to the VENTANAS web site, prepare
the corresponding activity for the second Exploración selection,
and submit it electronically before the next
class.
