IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
  1. Ask students to read their descriptions, Un día terrible. Have the class guess which public figure is being discussed in each description.
  2. Work through Práctica y Comunicación activities 1 and 2 for Estructura 8.4 with the class. Put students in pairs for activity 3. Ask students for their opinions on the two points of view presented in activity 1. For activity 2, have students rewrite the sentences replacing sino with sino que and vice versa.
  3. Go over students’ work on steps A & B of A conversar.
  4. Collect and correct students’ descriptions, Un día terrible.
ASSIGNMENT
  1. Review A conversar and be prepared to complete step C in class.
ADDITIONAL PRACTICE OPTIONS

  1. Read the Lectura section in the workbook section of the Student Activities Manual and do the corresponding activities.
