IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
  1. Administer the quiz for Lección 8 (approximately 20 minutes).
  2. While students are taking the quiz, spot check their Manos a la obra campaign platforms in preparation for doing step C in class.
  3. Have students present their campaign platforms to the class. Then have the class vote for the best candidate (step C of Manos a la obra).
  4. Preview Contextos of Lección 9.
  5. Collect and correct the campaign platforms students prepared for Manos a la obra.
ASSIGNMENT
  1. Read the Contextos section of Lección 9.
  2. Study the lesson vocabulary.
  3. Prepare the Práctica activities for oral work during the next class.
ADDITIONAL PRACTICE OPTIONS

  1. Do the Contextos exercises on the VENTANAS CD-ROM.
