IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
  1. Have each group present its advertising poster and explain its advertising campaign. The class should ask each group questions about its campaign.
  2. Put students in small groups. Ask them to discuss the importance of work. Encourage them to use the grammar and vocabulary from Lección 7 in their discussions. Have each group present the results of its discussion to the class.
  3. Check comprehension of the Actualidades reading by asking students what information should be included on a résumé.
ASSIGNMENT
  1. Read Manos a la obra and prepare steps A—C in writing for use in class on Day 12.
  2. Study the Vocabulario.
  3. Write a paragraph on what life would be like without work. Discuss what would be difficult, good, bad (lo difícil, lo bueno, lo malo), etc. Use transitions to describe a life without work.
